This is my interpretation of a couple of stories I heard once, I added a little to it……
Once upon a time there lived a Fierce and Mighty Lion. The Lion had his own Kingdom. The Lion provided for his *Pride…His Pride provided for him….Loyal were the Lions to each other…..Each Lion worked for the greater good of the Pride.
One day the Great Lion was walking around his forest. And the great Lion ran into some hyenas. The Hyeanas heckled as the Lion approached, “Look at the big bad lion….hahahahaha…he is so tough…hahahahathe …..King of Lions…hahaha”
As the Lion drew near, the Hyenas started to silence. The Hyenas put there heads down to the Lion. “Hey there Lion, King of all Lions, how are you great ruler,” said the head Hyeanas, as the gaggle of them started to inadvertently snicker to themselves. The Lion stated, “Why do you laugh at my expense, when you know I am with a Powerful Pride, and we can have you banished from this land?”
The Hyeanas laughingly reply, “We are Hyeanas, we can not help ourselves.” The Lion picked up his Powerful head, and walked on. The Lion was satisfied this answer, because the Hyenas knowingly, admit there faults. (Like a true Lion, it shows Pride in oneself to show integrity, and be honest about everything that is going on in ones 360 observation of life.)
Later that day, as the Lion is within feet of his Den, he hears a scream. “Help…Help…Please…Help…I need help.” The Lion looks around and spots a little creature that he has never seen before. The creature was stuck under a rock. The Lion quickly ran and lifted the rock off of the creature.
The creature said, “Oh great Lion, how can I repay you?” The Lion said, “first you must answer my question, what kind of creature are you?” The creature replied, “I am a Scorpion”. The Lion said, “Scorpion, you are hurt, I will take you to my Den, to heal your wounds, but I need your word that I can trust you.”
The Scorpion replied, “Lion you have my Word, on my Honor, and my Pride that you can trust me.”
So the Lion brought the little Scorpion into his Den. For weeks the Lion and the Pride nursed the little Scorpion back to health. The Great Lion approached the Scorpion and said, “Scorpion we have nursed you back to health now, we have set you up a place to live in our kingdom where there are other Scorpions like yourself.”
The Scorpion quickly turned, and stung the lion in the paw. “Ouch, Scorpion you stung me, now I will surely die, why would you do such a thing, you gave me your Word, on you Honor, and your Pride”, questioned the Lion? “Lion, I stung you because I am a Scorpion, that is what I do, I have no Honor, and No Pride, therefore I have no word,” concluded the Scorpion.
The End
I’m gonna throw a copyright note on this, because this is my own words, based off of my interpretation of a few stories. So if you Repost please credit me.
